Aging Navigaton Services
​Gerontology-based Aging Navigation services take away the stress, confusion and frustration experienced by anyone trying to navigate and manage issues and challenges along their aging journey. Two types of sessions are available in a variety of convenient and flexible formats depending on the needs of the clients. An Initial Assessment Session is required for all new clients. No referral is required and the older adult does not have to be present during a session.

One-on-one Sessions allow clients to have dedicated time with a Gerontologist who has experience working with older adults and specialized knowledge of aging resources.

Working Sessions are time blocks dedicated to completing age-related tasks or activities for clients unable to complete on their own or need support with. For the majority of working sessions the client does not need to be present.

One-on-One Sessions
These sessions are suited for clients looking for the expertise and guidance of a Gerontology professional who can help them to manage and navigate any issues and challenges they are facing. These sessions give clients a comprehensive view at where they or their loved ones are along their aging journey and help them to figure out where they want to be and how to get there.

Initial Assessment Session

1 hour one-on-one session with a Gerontology professional

A summary report with an action plan to best support clients going forward with next steps, identified goals and links to age-related information and resources.

A check-in email or text one month after the session.

By phone, video or in-person at a public venue, client’s home or at our partner offices in Vancouver and Richmond, BC.

Cost $140.00 + tax.

Subsequent Sessions

One-on-one time with a Gerontology professional.

By phone, text, video or in-person at a public venue or at our partner offices in Vancouver and Richmond, BC.

Session time is unlimited and charged by the hour.

Phone and text sessions are pre-purchased by the hour and can be used at anytime with no minimum time requirement per call or text.

Working Sessions
Working sessions are one-hour time blocks allocated to support clients with completion of age-related tasks or activities. Sessions are completed at your discretion, with or without family involvement and are designed to take away stress, frustration and confusion.
Depending on the nature of the tasks and/or activities, the client may not need to be present for these sessions. Sessions can be booked consecutively if activities or tasks require more than one hour to complete. Examples of activities and tasks we have eloped clients with are listed below.
The working session includes:​
